Specific advice for types of cases

There are a number of typical types of cases that we see with some general similarities in origin and treatment. Some types will be described in a common sense way and then discussed. This information is primarily intended for the people being afflicted though it should be useful to clergy and others who might be assisting people. Please don't assume that this information leads to competency to work on these types of cases, this is being provided to give general advice so that people can seek out proper assistance in their own area.

"I moved into a new residence and there seems to be paranormal activity here" or "something evil is here"

Sometimes spiritual rights to a building were given by a previous owner or tennant. Generally this can be cleared by a thorough house blessing and perhaps deliverance prayers. Usually clergy should do this work. We see many cases where people tried to have people use "magic" or some form of occult practice to clear the home, always with the result of it getting worse.

It may be wise to check the home for any evidence of occult activity (symbols, evidence of things being burned, organic matter in a hidden location, books with things hidden in them, etc.). Anything that seems to be a center of activity or that looks occult should be destroyed or removed by someone who knows about deliverance work.

"I am getting ready to pass on and am now being afflicted for something I did when I was young."

This type of case needs deliverance work and an experienced team to successfully adress it.

"People in my family have been afflicted down the generations by a similar type of spirit"

Somtimes a spirit gets rights to attach to a family and "rides" that family down through the generations. Usually an ancestor or parent was involved in black magic. This required intervention by people experienced in deliverance. This type case can quickly escalate depending on various factors.

It is very important to make sure babies are baptised as soon as possible in these families as they are more vulnerable until they are baptised.
